Electric Vehicle Technologies Association Launches the “EV Knowledge Empowerment Series”

As part of its mission to promote specialized knowledge and strengthen national capabilities, the Electric Vehicle Technologies Association has launched the “EV Knowledge Empowerment Series,” a specialized knowledge initiative designed to raise awareness, facilitate knowledge transfer, and enable professionals and enthusiasts to keep pace with the rapidly evolving electric vehicle sector. The program features a series of scientific and educational sessions delivered by academics, experts, and industry specialists. Topics include the future of electric vehicles, battery and charging technologies, charging infrastructure, EV-grid integration, sustainability, and key technologies, challenges, and future opportunities within the sector. The program targets university and college students, engineers and technicians, researchers and academics, technology and energy professionals, sustainability enthusiasts, and members of the wider community interested in the future of electric mobility. The series commenced on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, with its first session titled “Discover the Future of Mobility... and Be Part of the Transition Toward a More Sustainable World,” presented by Dr. Abdulaziz Dakhel Almutairi, Chairman and Founding Member of the Association and Associate Professor specializing in renewable energy and electric vehicle engineering. The first session introduced electric vehicles and their different types, battery technologies and charging stations, the role of electric vehicles in sustainability, and key future challenges and opportunities. It aimed to provide accessible and reliable knowledge, address common misconceptions, and enhance public awareness of the future of electric mobility. Through the EV Knowledge Empowerment Series, the Association seeks to establish a sustainable knowledge platform that connects experts, specialists, and interested communities while supporting knowledge transfer, capability development, and the growth of Saudi Arabia’s electric vehicle ecosystem.
