- Dr. Omar Nasser Alrumayh holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada, with expertise in smart grids, power systems, energy management, and energy storage. He currently serves as Secretary General of Research Chairs at Qassim University, following his role as Director of the Scientific Faculties Research Center. His experience spans research governance, grant management, research performance evaluation, strategic planning, data analytics, and dashboard development, alongside extensive academic and research work in smart energy systems, demand response, and energy storage integration.
