Biography
- Dr. Badr Lami holds a PhD and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada, and a BASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from King Abdulaziz University. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Taibah University and previously chaired the department. His research interests include power system reliability and adequacy, renewable energy integration, energy storage, smart grids, demand response, microgrids, artificial intelligence and optimization in power systems, as well as electric vehicle integration and smart charging. He has also contributed to academic accreditation, curriculum development, and serves as a reviewer for international journals including IEEE, Elsevier, and Springer.
